We recommend that you travel by public transport: fast, convenient and environmentally friendly. For ticket holders, the use of public transport is included on the festival weekend.
The Olympiapark is easily accessible by subway:
Take the U3 or U8 to the "Olympiazentrum" stop. From there it is about a 10-minute walk to the festival site.
Bus lines also stop nearby, e.g. lines 144 (stops Spiridon-Louis-Ring, Olympiasee, Olympiaberg), 173 (stops Olympiazentrum, Olympia-Eissportzentrum, Petuelring) and 177/178 (stop Petuelring).
If you choose the Tram lines 20 and 21 (stop Olympiapark West) or line 27 (stop Petuelring), it is about a 5-minute walk.
Please note: From Friday, October 17, at 10:20 p.m. until Monday, October 20, at 4:00 a.m., the entire main line, including Leuchtenbergring and Berg am Laim, as well as the S-Bahn tracks at Ostbahnhof, will be closed.
If you are traveling by car, parking spaces are available in the Parkharfe or on the parking deck. Please note that the parking lots can be very busy during the festival.
Convenient parking in the Parkharfe: Now with a reserved space
If you are traveling by car, you can secure a parking space in the Parkharfe in advance.
Simply go to www.rkb-parken.de, select the date, time and duration and pay. You will then receive a QR code or you can enter your license plate number. After payment, a QR code including a wallet function is sent to you, which is scanned when you enter. Optionally, you can also enter your license plate number, which is then automatically scanned when you drive up to open the barrier.
With both options, you will still receive the usual parking ticket when you drive in so that you can pay extra at the pay stations if you exceed the time limit.
Disabled parking spaces for wheelchair users
An environmentally friendly way to get to the festival is by bike. There are plenty of bicycle parking spaces at each of the main entrances to the festival, so you can park your bike conveniently and safely. By cycling, you are helping to protect the environment, reduce traffic and make the festival even more sustainable.
Please note that for safety reasons, e-scooters are prohibited from driving and parking in the Olympic Park.
